The dog was laying in the back of a pickup outside the bar in Wrangel, Alaska. The cat belonged to a
sailboat on the docks at a marina in the Gulf Islands in B.C. They were meant for each other. That's the
neat part about being an artist, being able to take two ideas and bring them together even when, in reality,
they are so far apart.
