The
Butterfly was not always as flat as we see today, In fact at one time it was
quite a fat and jolly creature. One evening after a great feast Raven
accompanied Butterfly home. It was a long walk, and before too long Raven was
feeling hungry again.
Looking at his fat well-fed friend, he came up with a
idea. Allowing Butterfly to get ahead of him, he rolled a large log down the
path. This completely flattened Butterfly and made him regurgitate his whole
meal! butterfly has remained flat to this day.
